Thanks for your interest in hosting a Turn the Tide screening.

Putting on a show is easy. All you need is a suitable venue (with seating, projection and sound equipment), you pay a license fee, promote and sell the tickets then get ready to share your love of the ocean on the big screen via the inspiring line up of Turn the Tide films.

Typical venues include schools, cinemas, universities, community halls & theatres.

We’ll supply you with the master files/disks to play the films as well as provide stunning high-resolution artwork to help you promote your event.

Local partners are a great way to help cover the licence fee and to help spread the message amongst the local community.

The Turn the Tide Film Tour can be screened at just about any venue large or small that has access to projection equipment. The tour will screen in theatres, school auditoriums, museums, civic centers, cinemas and everywhere in between. At a minimum the equipment needed includes a 3k projector, projection screen and audio capabilities.

Anyone with a passion for the ocean or film, but it helps to have some marketing and technical knowledge or a connection to a local ocean related community group. Our tour stops have been hosted by a wide array of organisations. We are often asked to partner with nonprofit organisations for fundraising events. We love doing this but also need to adequately reward our valued film makers who work tirelessly to bring us these inspirational films.

Yes! Sponsors are a great way to help cover the tour screening fees, reduce ticket prices and bring a dynamic element to your event. We encourage you to reach out to local businesses in your community who would benefit from being associated with your event as long as they don’t conflict with the tour partner.

Yes. The Turn the Tide Film Tour operates on a fixed booking fee structure. This allows you to have more control over ticket prices, box office revenue, local sponsors rates etc. This is designed to help you achieve your financial and/or fundraising goals.

It is also designed to reward our film makers and support independent films and emerging film makers.

Once your screening date is confirmed we will send you a link to our Marketing Support dropbox folder. There you can find a press release, poster templates, flyer templates, high-resolution film stills, trailer, brand identity, film synopsis and more.

We will also add your event to the Turn the Tide website and facebook events page.

Yes! This is something we strongly encourage. In our experience local charity organisations bring a great dynamic to a screening and a passionate network of ocean lovers. They also provide a critical link between our audience of motivated ocean advocates and positive change and ocean custodianship which is one of our key goals.

You have the option of receiving either digital files or a DVD, whichever suits your tech set up best. It is important to note that the film files are not to be copied and can only be screened the number of times outlined in your shopping cart. The films may not be duplicated or digitally shared after the event. All DVD disks must be returned to Adventure Reels within a week of the screening date.
